In order to identify and treat the causes of irregular bleeding, hysteroscopy is a procedure that allows your doctor to look into your uterus. A hysteroscope, a small, illuminated tube that is inserted into the vagina to view the cervix and inside the uterus, is used for hysteroscopy.
